Xiaomi has started to rollout a new software update for Redmi 9 users. The MIUI 11-based software update is rolling out for the Global and the Chinese variants of the device.

The software update for Redmi 9 optimizes system stability as well as reduced system lag. However, there’s no new feature or changes noted in this update.
Currently, this update is based on MIUI 11 and users once again have to wait for the stable MIUI 12 to be released. Below you can check the updated software version, download link, and changelog of this update.
