According to the latest information, the Poco devices users who have received the MIUI 12 update are facing an issue related to the Android 10 full-screen gestures. As the update rolled out partially, so not all users received the MIUI 12 update.
On Poco devices after the MIUI 12 update, the Android 10 full-screen gesture functionality to hide the full screen indicator is missing. We get this information from a series of tweets.
It seems that the MIUI 12 update for Poco devices does not include the Hide full-screen indicator option in the Full-screen display settings. Users have no option to enable it from the settings after the MIUI 12 update.
However, it is unclear whether the option to hide/enable the full screen indicator is not available for Poco devices or shifted to some other section of device settings.
As we know that Poco is also working on Poco UI, a separate skin with specific customization for Poco devices. This UI should make things easier for Poco in terms of software development.
