Xiaomi has started to rollout a new software update for Redmi Note 8 Pro users in China, brings December 2020 security patch for system security enhancement.

JOIN XIAOMI ON TELEGRAM
Recently, the company released the first MIUI 12.5 build for the Redmi Note 8 Pro users in China. An Android 11 beta available but only for those who had participated in the public beta program. Hopefully, the stable build for all users will rollout soon.
The firmware version of this update is V12.0.5.0.QGGCNXM and updated package size of 2.4GB. Below you can check the download link and changelog of this update.

Although we are in the second week of February but Xiaomi is rolling out the December patch for this device. Currently, the new update is rolling out for Redmi Note 8 Pro users in China, and it will soon expand in the other regions.
Apart from this, Xiaomi released the latest February 2021 security update for Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G users in China. The other devices will soon join the February patch updated device family.
