Xiaomi has rollout a new MIUI 12 beta update with version 20.12.4 in China. According to the changelog, this beta update brings optimizations and fixes for system security.

The new beta update enhances system security. Some models have the problem of “recorder disappeared” under certain circumstances. If you find this problem, then download it again in the app store after OTA. Currently, the update is rolling out for beta testers in China.
Some of the MIUI 13 features have already started to be tested earlier. The redesigned power menu and sound rocker coming with MIUI 13 are available in MIUI 12 Beta version.
