Xiaomi is expanding MIUI 12 update for Redmi 8 users in Russia and Europe. This update brings a set of new features and optimizations for a better experience.

The new update optimizes the full-screen gesture, system animations, Control center layout, Dark mode brightness, and more as well as brings new shortcuts to open the control center and notification shade.
This update also improves system security by installing the latest Android patch released in December 2020. It fixes the Control center issue that wasn’t always displayed correctly in landscape mode. Below you can check the download link, updated software version, and changelog of this update.

Xiaomi is now releasing the stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi 8 globally. It brings a bundle of new features and optimizations for better device performance.
The new stable update for Redmi 8 comes with the software version V12.0.1.0.QCNMIXM and users will have to download a 4.0GB software package to install the update.

Xiaomi is finally rolling out the MIUI 12 update for Redmi 8 globally. This update comes with a set of new features and optimizations to enjoy the latest features.

The new update brings some shortcuts to open the Control center and notification shade. It also adds the new animations for the status bar and screen light up.
This update optimizes the Control center layout in landscape mode, dark mode brightness and gradients as well as fixes the device unlocking issue.
