Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for Redmi K30 5G smartphones in China. The update mainly installs the August 2021 Android security patch and a bunch of fixes for known bugs and issues.
The changelog for the update mentions new fingerprint options on the lock screen, third-party theme compatibility for Notification shade, dark mode adjustments for notifications.

It further fixes the memory usage issues when charging animation was displayed, issues with permissions after missed calls, notifications weren’t always displayed correctly when “Raise to Wake” was used, and lock screen notifications disappeared after an ended call.
In addition, the problems that using Face unlock and Fingerprint unlock simultaneously led to crashes, lock screen items weren’t displayed when super wallpapers and themes were combined, buttons weren’t always displayed correctly on the notifications when Dark mode was on, and more are solved as well.
Lastly, the August 2021 Android security patch will save your device from bugs and viruses and will improve its security and stability. Besides the changelog, you can identify the firmware via the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.5.0.RGICNXM.
