Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for Redmi Note 10 smartphones. It optimizes system performance alongside improving system security and stability for a better user experience.
In addition, the also brings a much-anticipated feature for Redmi Note 10 which is RAM Expansion. However, the official changelog for the firmware doesn’t mention it but a user’s report claims its arrival.

MIUI RAM Expansion:
It’s a function that converts part of the device’s internal storage to virtual RAM. Depending on your device storage configuration, you get 1GB, 2GB, or 3GB virtual RAM. This function will take up part of the storage space, thus, one should use it when the storage space is sufficient.
RAM Expansion feature was first arrived for closed beta testers months ago. Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra was the first smartphone that tested the function before its wider availability. It is expected to be released for all users alongside MIUI 13.
Update Version:
The latest firmware for Redmi Note 10 holds the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 version 12.5.4.0 RKGMIXM globally and 12.5.3.0 RKGINXM in India.
