Xiaomi already completed the MIUI 12 rollout for the second batch and the third batch devices are lining up for the MIUI 12 update. The company is going to roll out the update to more phones in the coming weeks.

The latest MIUI 12 offers an improved UI with a bundle of new features such an improved system-wide dark mode, AI-assisted calling features, Dynamic Always-on Display, Super wallpaper, Super Document, Control Center and Frame Rate Monitor tool, and more.
Now, something new is under development which suggests that Xiaomi has started working on the MIUI 13 update. This information comes from Telegram channel MIUI 12 updates.
The information shows an overhauled power off-screen with a two way slider for restarting and switching off the device. The new Power Off animations is coming either to the later MIUI 12 or MIUI 13.
Furthermore, if the current MIUI update trend is kept in mind, Xiaomi may release the MIUI 13 update on top of Android 11 by next year.
