Back in 2018, Xiaomi unveiled its new budget smartphone, Redmi Note 6 Pro. It offers a 6.26 inches LCD display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636, dual camera, 4000 mAh battery, and more.
The company has now begun sending the MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 6 Pro globally. This update brings a bunch of new features and optimizations to enhance the user experience.

The new update brings November 2020 security patch for system security improvement. It also fixes the issue by which notification shade wasn’t displayed correctly in Dark mode.
It also optimizes the full-screen gesture, system animation, dark mode, and Control center to improve the device performance.
MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with the MIUI 12 version V12.0.1.0.PEKMIXM and users will have to download a 2.0GB software package to install the update.
