Xiaomi is currently speedy working on providing Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 updates for its eligible smartphones worldwide. At the same time, the tech giant is also releasing monthly security patches.
It’s October and like other smartphone vendors, Xiaomi has also begun sending the security updates of this month. A few phones such as Redmi 9, Redmi 10, Poco F2 Pro, Mi 10 Lite have already received them. While the Redmi Note 8 is the latest to collect it.

Anyways, users can identify the new update via the Android 11 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.4.0.RCOEUXM. And, to experience it, they will have to download and install the package of more than 2.5GB on their smartphones.
It should be mentioned that the update is currently rolling out in Europe, while it may soon be released for other region users in the coming days.
