Back in 2020, Xiaomi unveiled its new smartphone, Redmi Note 9S. This smartphone initially came with Android 10 based MIUI 11 and currently running on MIUI 12.
Now, Xiaomi is sending an Android 11 update for Redmi Note 9S users globally. This update comes with January 2021 security patch that improves system security.

Android 11 for Redmi Note 9S comes with a set of new features and optimization for a better experience. This smartphone sold in India as Redmi Note 9 Pro.
The firmware version of the Android 11 update for Redmi Note 9S is V12.0.1.0.RJWMIXM and users will have to download a 2.5GB software package to install the update.
