Earlier this year, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 9T smartphones in global markets, which is the rebranded version of the Chinese Redmi Note 9 5G. It entered the markets with pre-installed Android 10 based MIUI 12 OS, now it is running on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5.
Anyways, at present, the Chinese tech giant is rolling out a new software update for Redmi Note 9T smartphones globally. It mainly installs better system performance as well as improves system security and stability.

Besides these, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention anything. Also, users might not notice any new feature or noticeable change after installing the update, still, we recommend you download and install it.

The New Redmi Note 9T update holds the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 version V12.5.6.0.RJEMIXM. To install it one will have to download and install the package of around 5.0GB on their phones.
