According to the latest information, some users of the Xiaomi devices users are facing some issues with MIUI system apps updater. A group of users has reported about this annoying issue with their devices.

While the issue is preventing some like Xiaomi Health and messaging, many users have reported about the Wallpaper Carousel app also. Many Xiaomi devices including Mi 8, Redmi Note 9, and Redmi 8 have been affected by apps updater issues.
Xiaomi Redmi 8 users reported that they were unable to download and install the latest MIUI 11-based October security update. The community team member advised the user to install manually by downloading the recovery ROM.
As per the moderator, the MIUI System Apps Updater cannot be used to update apps due to a server issue. Users can try again later to update these apps from the system updater
