After updating the device to MIUI 12, it seems like the latest ROM has several bugs. One of the major issues after updating to the MIUI 12 is a battery draining issue. Some of the Xiaomi smartphone users are complaining that the device battery is draining very rapidly.
Now, a moderator has stated that the company is already aware of the heavy battery draining issue and the upcoming update might fix this issue. This issue is simply due to the fact that MIUI 12 is a heavy resource.
As we know that the members of Xiaomi’s beta testing program in China have started receiving MIUI 12 beta updates with various improvements but there’s no information regarding the battery drain issue.
However, there’s no official solution yet about this issue but we can expect that the upcoming update might fix the major issue of battery draining for Xiaomi devices.
