Starting this year, Xiaomi launched the Mi 10i 5G as it’s first smartphone of 2021. This device comes pre-installed with Android 10-based MIUI 12 version.

Now, according to the information, the Chinese tech giant has begun sending the stable Android 11 update to the Mi 10i 5G in India. This software carries build versionV12.0.1.0.RJSINXM and weighs around 2.5GB.
With the latest software update, Mi 10i users will get all the bells and whistles of Android 11 and March 2021 security patch, which brings system security enhancements.
Just like every time, Xiaomi is rolling out this major update in different phases, so it may take some time to be cover every Mi 10i unit in India.
It is worth mentioning that the company has recently announced the recruitment for MIUI 12.5 closed beta in India. And the Mi 10i also included in the list of eligible phones that means this model gets one step closer to the MIUI 12.5.
Android 11 Features:
Introduced back in September last year, Google’s Android 11 includes a set of iconic features such as Chat Bubbles, in-built screen recording, notification history, better privacy controls, one time permission for apps, and much more.
Here’s how to check for updates manually
- From the Home Screen swipe down.
- Tap on Settings icon.
- Select About phone.
- Hit on MIUI version menu.
- Finally click on Download update.
