Xiaomi is expanding an MIUI 12.5 update for Mi 9T Pro users in Russia. It installs the latest Android patch released in June 2021 for system security enhancement.

Xiaomi has already released a stable MIUI 12.5 update to a bunch of devices in different regions. Now, the company has started to rollout this major update for Xiaomi Mi 11i and Mi 9T Pro users.

The new update comes with a number of new features and optimizations as well as it also enhances the system security by installing the Android patch released in June 2021. Currently, the MIUI 12.5 update is rolling out for Global variants of Mi 11i and the European variant of Mi 9T Pro respectively.

Along with a security patch, these devices carry the latest MIUI version to MIUI 12.5 with a new version that comes with a set of new features to enhance the users’ experience and device performance.
It brings Dynamic layouts to bring the typography in Notes to a new level and it adds press and holds a sketch to adjust the strokes automatically function, a gesture shortcut now allows you to create notes, tasks, and excerpts anywhere, new tools for doodling and sketching, and more.
In addition, the excerpts now save text, URLs, and images to Notes in a few simple taps. The dynamic layouts bring the typography in Notes to a new level. With 20 times more rendering power, there are now few limits to what you can see on your screen.
