Now, a new smart feature has announced with the MIUI 12 Global stable update i.e. Sound Assistant. It allows users to adjust the volume for individual apps when multiple apps play audio simultaneously.
With this feature, you can continue listening to the podcast while the video is being played on your feed.
How to Enable it?
To enable this new feature, users have to follow the steps mentioned below.
- Open Settings.
- Tap on the Sound and Vibration option.
- Click on the Sound Assistant section.
- Turn on the button next to Adjust media sound in multiple apps.
After turning on, a circular on-screen button will pop-up on the left side of the screen while adjusting the volume using any app. By clicking the button, a volume adjustment toggle appears, now you can adjust the volume of the apps that are playing audio on your device.

Currently, this new feature is only available for Redmi K20 Pro devices running Android 10 based MIUI 12.0.3.3. We can expect that the company will soon provide this new feature to more devices in upcoming updates. You can also check the MIUI 12 full features here.
