Xiaomi is rolling out an MIUI 12 update for Redmi 8A Dual users in India. It comes with January 2021 security patch to improve the system security update.

It optimizes the full-screen gesture, system animations in some scenarios, Control center layout, Dark mode brightness, and more.
The new update brings new shortcuts to open the control center and notification shade as well as fixes the bug by which the Notification shade wasn’t displayed correctly in Dark mode.
MIUI 12 update for Redmi 8A Dual comes with version V12.0.1.0.QCQINXM and updated software of 1.8GB. Below you can check the changelog and download link of this update.
