MIUI 11-based August 2020 security update starts rolling out for Redmi Note 8 in India. It installs the latest Android patches for system security enhancement.

Currently, this update is based on MIUI 11 and the MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 8 will be available after the weekly beta testings end.
The firmware version of the August security update for Redmi Note 8 is V11.0.6.0.PCOINXM. Users will have to download a 253MB software package to install the update. You can manually check and download the update from the link mentioned below.
