More Galaxy S23 series users collecting July 2024 security update

The July 2024 security update has now reached more Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra users. To be mentioned, the patch was already live in several countries including Korea and it has now caught the US and Canada.

The owners of the Galaxy S23 are currently enjoying the features and optimizations of Android 14-based One UI 6.1 software. The installation of the July 2024 security patch will further improve device functioning and offer a more seamless experience.

The Security Maintenance Release bulletin of July 2024 also mentions fixes for 4 critical and 21 high-level of CVEs from Google. The update also addresses 2 exceptions CVEs that don’t affect Samsung devices.

As per the details, the owners of Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra will be able to identify the July 2024 update via the build version ending with CXF9 in the US and Canada.

To check and install the patch manually. Visit the Settings app and tap on the Software Update menu. Now, press the Download & Install key and follow the onscreen instructions.
