Starting this week, Xiaomi initially dispatched the September 2023 MIUI update for the Redmi Note 11S 4G users in India, therefore, now the patch is rolling out in more markets. The firmware comes with the aim to boost the overall performance of the system and make it more reliable.
As per the information, the September 2023 security update for the Redmi Note 11S 4G consumers is currently rolling out in Russia with MIUI build version V14.0.4.0.TKERUXM. However, the company will also expand the reach of the patch for the remaining market users in the coming days or weeks.
Furthermore, the update is hovering in Russia via the OTA medium. As a result, it will take some hours or days to approach all the eligible units. But in case you don’t want to wait for the firmware, then you can go with the manual downloading process, for this, you just need to follow some simple steps.
- Go to the Settings app
- Select the About Phone section
- Tap on System Updates
- Press on the MIUI version, to fetch the latest update
- Click the Download & Install tab
