Xiaomi has released a new MIUI 12.5 beta update with version 21.7.19/21.7.20 in China. The new update brings some new features for Xiao Ai to enhances the user experience as well as device performance.

The new MIUI 12.5 beta update adds Xiaoai Volume on Xiaoai settings page by which you can check/adjust the volume of Xiaoai’s reply voice at any time. It also adds mobile phone Xiao Ai supports voice remote control of Xiao Ai speakers and Xiao Ai supports controlling multiple smart homes in one sentence.
Currently, the update is only available for testers in China. You can check the updated changelog of this update mentioned below.

Newly added Xiao Ai supports controlling multiple smart homes in one sentence, for example, you can say to me: “Turn on the lights and air conditioners”
Due to the problem that the weather app cannot be used when opening the weather app in some scenarios, Mi MIX FOLD will provide the test results later. From May 2, 2021, if there is a behavior of irrigation and the hope to increase the internal test score, it will greatly reduce the probability of passing the internal test.
We’ve also started hearing the rumors about the next version of MIUI, MIUI 13, that the company will release it in mid-August. However, the information is not officially announced by the company so we can take this as a pinch of salt. You can check the MIUI 13 eligible device list here.
