Xiaomi has released a new MIUI 12.5 beta update with version 21.5.7 in China. The latest beta update comes with some new features and optimizations to enhance the system performance.

The new update added desktop widget to provide personalized search service and new visual upgrade to optimize search experience. It also fixes some issues related to Lock screen, File manager, and Browser.

WHAT’S NEW

Lock screen

• Fix the lock screen problem when the notification bar is pulled down
  Adapted model: Redmi K20 Pro

Search

• Added desktop widget to provide personalized search service
  New visual upgrade, optimized search experience

File Manager

• Fix the problem of not being able to browse multiple pictures

Browser

• Fixes video playback freezes, automatic deletion of cached videos, etc.

From May 2, 2021, if there is a behavior and hope to increase the internal test score, it will greatly reduce the probability of passing the internal test.

Previously, this update added multiple image zoom modes and a new feature by which users can call the camera to complete shooting and video recording in the quick app.
