New update for Huawei MatePad Pro and MatePad Pro 5G brings Knuckle Gesture

Posted on

Huawei MatePad Pro series products have already received stable EMUI 11 support in both domestic and global markets. Earlier this month, Huawei had started to send January 2021 security patch, which installed the security patch to further improve and optimize the knuckle gesture function.

Now, the company is rolling out a new software update for MatePad Pro and Pro 5G tablets. This update will not bring any security patch, but the knuckle gesture function will be added to the remaining devices, which doesn’t install the last update.

Regarding the knuckle gesture function, it is the first release of EMUI 10.1, which allows screenshots, screen recording, and the use of knuckles to open the split-screen mode.

Below you can check the official changelog and version of these smartphones.
