Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is the latest Galaxy watch from Samsung that comes with a whole bunch of features along with the premium design. It packs a bulk of fitness tracking features such as blood pressure measuring, heart rate monitoring, and much more.
The company keeps on updating its smartwatch by sending a regular update to the device that brings new features and several optimizations for a better user experience. Likewise, the Galaxy Watch 3 is now getting a new update in the United States that adds features and comes with some improvements.
With the latest update, the Samsung Health app will have better auto-workout detection and tracking steps progress using ‘Together’ Challenge which can include up to 9 friends, directly from the watch.
Furthermore, the Galaxy Watch 3 users can also calculate a ‘Sleep Score’ by numbers that will range from 1 to 100. This will be done by measuring the quantity and the quality of the sleep that one will take. In addition, the latest firmware also removes the second counter from the AOD (Always on display) watch faces to reduce the disturbance.

Also, the Hand Wash application is now supported with the Galaxy Watch 3 which can be installed from the Galaxy Store. Users can identify the latest firmware with the software version R855USQU1BUB2 and is available for the Verizon locked Galaxy Watch 3 in the US.
How to update:
- Open the Galaxy Wearables app
- Tap on Home and then click on the Watches software updates
- Now go to Download and install
- If available the tap on Install now
