Samsung has recently released a new software update for the Galaxy M30s smartphones in India. The latest update comes with the October 2021 security patch and carries PDA version number M307FXXU4CUI1. Other than the new security patch, the update changelog didn’t mention any new features or changes.

In 2019, Samsung unveiled its new budget smartphone called Galaxy M30s. The device was pre-installed with One UI 1.x based on Android 9 out of the box, and later received the One UI 2.0 update on top of Android 10. Furthermore, the company also released an updated One UI 3.1 smartphone based on Android 11.
Since the Galaxy M30s is a budget smartphone belonging to the Galaxy M series, the company has ended its main software update life cycle. At the same time, due to the new Samsung update policy, the device is still eligible for new security patch updates and new features until 2023.
How to check for updates:
- Go to your phone’s Setting
- Click on ‘Software update‘ Menu
- Then, finally fit the Download and install button
