October 2022 security update resolves text messaging issue of Samsung Galaxy S21 series
Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone users have started receiving the October 2022 security update in the US. It seems that the company has started the rollout of its October patch thoroughly, after rolling out for Galaxy S22 series, the update has now made its way to the Galaxy S21 series owners.

October 2022 Android security update can be identified via the One UI versions, for Galaxy S21 the build number denotes as G991USQS5CVI8, the Galaxy S21+ users will determine it through G996USQS5CVI8, and G998USQS5CVI8 version is designated for the Ultra model of Galaxy S21.
According to the changelog, the October 2022 security patch update will fix the common issue that the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 series users have reported. Earlier, the users of Galaxy S21 at Verizon were not able to receive text messages on their smartphones.
This issue was arrived in their Galaxy devices after installing the September month security patch, to obtain the messages users were required to reboot their smartphone again and again, which can also cause harm to the battery of their device.
Now with the October month patch, the South Korean tech giant is going to fix that issue comprehensively, now users will not receive the messages in bulk, and also there will we no requirement to turn off and on your Galaxy S21 device again and again.
