One UI 7 testing for Samsung Galaxy S24 reaches new stage

Samsung has been testing an upcoming version of the software internally for Galaxy S24 devices for a long. Now, the testing of Samsung’s One UI 7 software for the Galaxy S24 series has reportedly reached a new stage.

As per the information of tipster @tarunvats, a new firmware ending with build version BXG2, has been spotted on Samsung’s servers, indicating that the company is moving forward with the development of the new software.

One UI 7 software is based on Google’s Android 15 operating system and is expected to bring a pack of new features and improvements to the Galaxy S24 series and other Samsung devices, optimizing the user experience.

Some of the rumored features of the new software include a vertical app drawer, improved battery life, and new AI-powered features.

Samsung has not yet confirmed the release date of the One UI 7 software, but it is expected to be released officially at the Samsung Developer Conference on October 3, 2024. While its beta program could start in August this year.

But before Samsung unveils One UI 7, there is one more One UI iteration called One UI 6.1.1 waiting to be released on July 10, bringing with it a set of more advanced Galaxy AI capabilities.
