Samsung continues to release One UI 6.0 beta builds for the top-tier models of the Galaxy family. However, some new inputs hint that the company has quietly slid its hands into another software development. In the latest edition, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra models are reportedly testing One UI 6.1 firmware.
As spotted by the tech tipster @theonecid on X (Twitter), Samsung already initiated the One UI 6.1 software testing on Galaxy S24 Ultra handsets. While both these products will appear on the consumer stage next year, we are having a glimpse of their early development phases.
Detailing the matter, the tipster dropped the firmware version that ends with the AWJ8. This build has been upgraded from the AWJ6 which was a minor update.

Samsung is well-known for surprising its users with the x.1 update offerings and this case is no exception to the theory. Consequently, the Android 14-based One UI 6.1 will bring fewer enhancements, improvements, and fixes over the 6.0 software upgrade.
