On September 17, 2020, Samsung launched the Galaxy M51 smartphone with a massive 7000mAh battery. It is powered by Snapdragon 730G processor along with a pre-installed Android 10 based One UI 2 version. Just after its launch, the company has pushed the One UI 2.5 firmware over the air.
According to the latest info, the Korean tech giant started sending a new firmware update for the Galaxy M51 devices. It brings the latest Android patches released in February 2021.
As per the security bulletin, it fixes 4 critical and 32 high levels of CVEs in order to increase the phone’s performance. This firmware can be identified via build version M515FXXS2BUA1.

Currently, the Galaxy M51 owners in UK (United Kingdom) are able to get the latest security update by heading to their device Settings then open the Software updates section and finally tap on Download and install. The company will expand this firmware to the other regions in the coming days after ensuring its stability.
What about the Android 11 and One UI 3.0 update?
Till now, various Samsung Galaxy devices have received the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 or One UI 3.1 update. On the other hand, the Galaxy A31 is scheduled to get the One UI 3.0 update from April 2021.
As we’ve seen previously, the company has delivered this major Android update earlier than scheduled, so we can expect, the Galaxy M51 will continue to follow the same track.
