Earlier today, Samsung has officially released the One UI 3.1 software update plan for the eligible Galaxy devices. The latest 3.1 version of One UI brings some powerful camera and productivity features to the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones, said Samsung.
Following the announcement, the Korean tech giant pushed the One UI 3.1 update to the Galaxy S20 lineup in select countries including Germany and South Korea. And now, the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are also getting the latest changes of One UI 3.1 via OTA.
Users of Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will be ready to shoot dynamic photos and videos with new smart camera features including improved Single Take, touch autofocus, autoexposure controller, Object eraser tool [Tip], and Multi Mic Recording.

Furthermore, you can find One UI 3.1’s new Eye Comfort Shield [Tip] mode after updating your Galaxy Note 20 smartphone. This new feature automatically adjusts the blue light based on the time of day. Identified via release number DUB6, the new software update is currently hitting the Galaxy Note 20 variants in Germany and Russia. Since it’s an initial rollout so it may take a while to be available for every Galaxy Note 20 smartphone.
This firmware installs the February 2021 security patch [Details] that brings fixes for 4 critical and 32 high levels of CVEs in order to increase device security. Moreover, if you’ve not received the update notification on your Galaxy Note 20 or Note 20 Ultra, check for the new update manually by heading to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
