Last year, Samsung launched Galaxy S20 FE an affordable variant of the Galaxy S20 flagship. The company has released this smartphone using Android 10 based One UI 2.5. However, it is an S series device, so it will get three generations of Android upgrades up to Android 13.
In December 2020, the South Koreans officially released One UI 3.0, the third version of Samsung’s self-developed user interface based on Android 11. Since its launch, the company has released this flagship version of the One UI on various Galaxy phones.

The Galaxy S20 FE device has already updated to Android 11 based One UI 3.0, and now T-Mobile is releasing the One UI 3.1 features (launched with the Galaxy S21 series) for this affordable flagship handset in the US. This can be identified by the release version G781USQU2DUB5, this firmware is currently available in select Galaxy S20 FE units nationwide and will soon be widely available.

On the other hand, we’ve recently seen a leaked product roadmap, which reveals several devices coming from Samsung. The Galaxy S21FE, the successor to the Galaxy S20FE, is expected to hit the market on August 19, 2021. Meanwhile, the company has officially confirmed that it will not be releasing new Galaxy Note phones this year.
Users can also check for the updates manually by going Settings > Software updates > then click on Download and install.
