Recently, Samsung has initially released the February 2021 security update to the Galaxy Note 9 devices in Germany. Now, 2018’s flagship is receiving a new software update in the US. One of the top network carriers in the country – Verizon pushed the latest security patch to its locked Samsung Galaxy Note 9 phones.
Aside from the February 2021 security patch, Galaxy Note 9’s firmware update also improves the stability of the system, enhances the system functions, and brings fixes for some unknown issues for a better user experience.

Identified via build version N960USQS7FUA1, it is the 27th system update for the Galaxy Note 9 from Verizon. However, the OEM has already declared that this older flagship smartphone will not get another major Android upgrade after the Android 10-based One UI 2.5.
