OnePlus 7/7 Pro and OnePlus 7T/7T Pro getting final Android 10-based January 2021 security update, OxygenOS 11 to come next
A few days ago, OnePlus has begun the Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 Open Beta program for its older flagship smartphones including the OnePlus 7/7 Pro and the OnePlus 7T/7T Pro. Following the announcement, these devices have received the first beta update with OxygenOS 11 features and improvements.
According to the latest info, the OnePlus is now rolling out a new software update for the OnePlus 7/7 Pro and the OnePlus 7T/7T Pro phones which comes with the latest January 2021 security patch. The new security update provides better protection to your OnePlus smartphone against different levels of threats and CVEs.

It is worth mentioning that the company said this update for the OnePlus 7/7 Pro and the OnePlus 7T/7T Pro is the final Android 10-based firmware. So we can surely expect that the upcoming update for these smartphones will be Android 11 and OxygenOS 11.
In addition to the system security improvements, this software also installs the updated GMS package of September 2020. Below, you can check the software versions of this new update.
