OnePlus 9 Pro finally gets HDR video recording feature with OxygenOS 11.2.7.7 update
OnePlus 9 Pro is the latest flagship phone which was officially launched on March 24, equipped with Snapdragon 888 processor and Hasselblad mobile phone imaging system. OnePlus 9 series of smartphones are the only handsets from this Chinese OEM, that are ready to test the Android 12 beta.

Meanwhile, OnePlus is rolling out an incremental OxygenOS update for the OnePlus 9 Pro, which comes with some notable changes in Camera. The new update adds an HDR video recording feature to the 9 Pro.
The latest firmware for the OnePlus 9 Pro can be identified with OxygenOS 11.2.7.7.LE15DA. It is currently rolling out for smartphones in India and will soon expand to other regions as well.
Earlier, when launching the camera app on the OnePlus 9 Pro, there isn’t an option to record HDR video but now with the new update, the option is available.
The latest update claims “reduced power consumption” in some areas, while there are also some improvements to the overall photo taking and video recording experience to match with the HDR video recording capability for the OnePlus 9 Pro.
If the update hasn’t arrived via OTA then the users can also check for it manually through the device’s settings and then the software updates section.

The OnePlus 9 devices have already received May 2021 security update recently and the June 2021 security still has some time to arrive. So, this update is limited to some improvements and majorly in the camera department.
