OnePlus Nord CE 2 November 2022 security update expanding in India

Posted on

OnePlus has started expanding the November 2022 security patch for the Nord CE 2 smartphone users in India. However, it’s slightly different from the previous update. As per the input revealings, the latest firmware is arriving for the corresponding device owners with a different build version and package size.

The November 2022 update changelog for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 device owners in India showcases the IV2201_11_C.09 build. On the flip side, it holds a mini software package of 130 Megabytes. Thus, you can easily install the new firmware via a regular mobile data connection.

Though there could be a change in the software version, the other benefits remain the same. Consequently, after installing the latest November 2022 security update on your respective smartphone, you will experience a more responsive and productive security system.

Again, the update will land on your device via OTA distribution. Hence it might take a few days to receive the new firmware. But you still have the option to check the update section of your device through Settings > System > Software Updates, and download the security patch manually.

Where is December 2022 security patch?

OnePlus is working to modify the security update rollouts policy for its flagship models. But it looks like the company has forgotten its mid-range devices. While we are walking in the mid-weeks of December, the Chinese tech maker didn’t release this month’s security patch for many of its gadgets yet.

It’s worth mentioning that the company has rolled out the first December 2022 security patch to the Nord CE 2 Lite smartphone users. But what about other devices? When will the OnePlus 10, 9, and 8 series owners get the fresh improvement package in their devices?

A possible reason behind this delay could be the development of the OnePlus 11 smartphones. For the moment, we can only look forward to catching the new security patch as soon as possible.
