Oppo has released the latest July 2022 Android security patch update for some of its flagship phones as well as some mid-range devices. In terms of software, the Chinese smartphone maker also provides timely updates. The rollout is incremental and may take some time to reach the device.

However, Oppo releases monthly maintenance releases and fixes for its flagship models as part of its monthly Security Maintenance Release (SMR) process. This SMR package includes Google and Oppo patches.
In addition to Google’s patches, the Oppo smartphone brand provides 41 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs) described below to increase customer confidence in the security of Oppo mobile devices. Some SVE items may not be included in this package if they were already included in a previous maintenance release.
Some patches that you receive from your chipset vendor (also known as device-specific patches) may not be included in this month’s security update package. As patches are ready for distribution, they will be included in future security update packages.
