In terms of Android software update policies, the Chinese tech giant OnePlus promises a wide range of smartphones for at least two years and in many cases even flagship-level devices. The flagship software OnePlue as well takes care of its devices on a monthly basis. Well, we are in the new month and the company is still busy in rolling out the May 2022 Android security update to its eligible devices.

Recently, Google released the Android Security Bulletin for June 2022. They have also started rolling out new updates for all the Pixel smartphones that are currently supported. Also, the latest update to the Pixel phones also brings the latest Pixel feature drop in the form of the first stable build of Quarter Platform Release (QPR) 3.
In its June 2022 Android security bulletin, Google details a large number of vulnerabilities ranging from critical to critical. As we’ve seen in the past, most of the vulnerabilities that have been revealed do not provide additional documentation detailing what was affected and how the patch resolved the issue.
