OnePlus confirmed on its forum that the OnePlus 8T will come with Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 out of the box. The OnePlus 8T will be the first third-party phone to run Android 11 out of the box. The OxygenOS 11 comes with a set of new features, including an Always-on Display and a new UI.
Apart from the Pixel 4a and Pixel 5, OnePlus 8T will be the first phone to come with Android 11 out of the box. Last year, OnePlus launched the first device, OnePlus 7T series, to run Android 10-based OxygenOS 10 out of the box.
OnePlus says, with the OnePlus 8T and OxygenOS 11, you’ll get the “best combination of hardware and software, letting you enjoy improved one-handed gestures for easier navigation and an overall more refined experience thanks to the 120Hz Fluid Display.”

OxygenOS 11 comes with a host of new features, including an Always-on Display, a new designed for one-handed use, dynamic backgrounds, new font, and more. The company has already released two Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 public beta for the OnePlus 8 series.
OnePlus 8T to come with a 120Hz panel, 4800mAh battery with 65W fast charging, and a 48MP camera at the back. The OnePlus 8T all set to make its debut on October 14.
