As we know, Android 12 comes with the Material You feature, one of the most significant user interface updates for the operating system in the past few years. The new interface offers more personalized customization options, from wallpaper-based color palette controls to more intuitive animations.
OxygenOS 13 newly redesigned Material You theming
From now on OxygenOS 13 will offer you an improved color palette that is well implemented in the Android 13 build. There are many other colors that the system can choose from, and these colors are generated dynamically by the wallpaper.
OxygenOS 13 will accordingly select the color for the OnePlus smartphone based on the wallpaper available. Looking at the image given below, you will find how the color of the Quick Settings icon changes relying on the wallpaper used. In addition, you will notice that the Material You theming also applies to apps that support depending on the theme you’re currently running on your device.
This Material You theming changes are good enough but there may be some more space to add further improvements to its color option. If OnePlus is ready to add more color combinations and also allow users of these themes to work with third-party apps on their phones that could be a better change in its upcoming upgrade.
As you know, OnePlus is testing OxygenOS 13 (on OnePlus 10 Pro) features and changes in its first beta and soon the company will expand this update to more eligible users around the globe. If you’re a OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone user and you have noticed something new you can share it with us.
