OnePlus is framing the next OxygenOS version, which will highlight some interesting Android 14 features. Although it’s possible to see a few ColorOS tweaks as well. Consequently, a new leak hints that OnePlus could adopt an incredible file transfer feature for OxygenOS 14.
As per the revealings by Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation, ColorOS 14 will gain the ability of a new file transfer sidebar feature, and probably, we may also see this functionality in the OxygenOS 14 upgrade. Though the leak didn’t read any such input but we got the point here.
OnePlus users are aware of how the company used to grab good parts from the ColorOS segments. A recent example is the OxygenOS 13.1 build which has snatched several features from the base code for OnePlus devices. Thus, we can expect the same treatment in this case too.
Speaking of the feature, the File Transfer feature can store text, images, and documents from different applications temporarily. From here, you can drag the stored file out of the sidebar with just a tap and can access them accordingly.

Note that neither OPPO nor OnePlus has made any clear statement on this matter. Although with time, it is important to make file sharing easier for consumers.
