OnePlus has now officially confirmed that the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta is coming soon to the OnePlus 7 and 7T series. In the forum post, OnePlus confirmed that the company is expecting to “release the first OxygenOS 11 Open Beta for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series shortly after”.

For the carrier-locked devices, the company said the “we’ll work closely with them (carriers including Verizon, T-Mobile, EE, and others) to deliver the best OxygenOS 11 experience for you at the earliest possible date”
OnePlus adds that they are currently running the Closed Beta program for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series.
As you may have heard, when porting Android 11 to the 7 and 7T series, we encountered a data decryption issue in these devices. We worked closely with Qualcomm and, with their support, we are already running a Closed Beta test.

OnePlus has released the stable Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 update for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. The company hasn’t yet started the OxygenOS 11 beta program for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T series.
According to the latest information, the company is working on the Android 11 update for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series. The next OxygenOS Open Beta build for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series will be based on Android 11, confirmed in OnePlus Forums.
At this moment, the OnePlus 7T series recently received the Open Beta 9, while the OnePlus 7 series received the Open Beta 19. Check the official response below:

As we grow near the release of the OxygenOS 11 release, our focus for the Open Beta software branch has shifted entirely to bringing you the latest flavor of Android. This means the next Open Beta build will be slightly delayed according to our maintenance schedule, but it will already be based on Android 11.
