Back in 2022 at the OnePlus 10T launch event, the company introduced the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 version for OnePlus smartphones.
At the event, OnePlus also announced the OxygenOS 13 rollout timeline. The OxygenOS 13 first launched on the OnePlus 10 Pro with an Open Beta program, later extended to OnePlus 10T.

After Google, OnePlus was the first to release the stable Android 13 build for its smartphones, defeating Samsung. In September 2022, the OnePlus 10 Pro received its first stable OxygenOS 13 build (Although the OxygenOS 13 brought tons of bugs, I don’t know why OnePlus said it was stable,) while Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series was on Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta build. Going back to OxygenOS 13 timeline, the company started the Android 13 Developer preview program for the OnePlus 10 Pro in early May 2022 and the first public beta in August 2022.
OnePlus is likely to follow the same timeline as last year for the OxygenOS 14. It means you can expect the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 beta activities to start for the latest flagship smartphone in a few weeks. The company has already started the Android 14 beta program for the OnePlus 11. The device recently received the 2nd Android 14 Beta build.
Based on previous timelines for years, following the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 developer previews program in May 2023 for the latest flagship phone, the company will introduce the OxygenOS 14 at the next device launch event, last year company introduced OxygenOS 13 at the OnePlus 10T launch event in early August. At the launch event, OnePlus will most likely share the beta and public rollout timelines for its eligible smartphones.
Soon after the event, the company may start the OxygenOS 14 public beta rollout for the flagship smartphones, followed by mid-range devices. For the stable rollout, the OxygenOS 14 will be coming to the OnePlus 11 users at the end of Q3, expect in September 2023. FYI, Google has already released the 3rd Android 14 public beta, before that, the company released two developer betas for Pixel phones. Before the final release in Q3 this year, Google will release 4 public Android 14 betas for testing.
