Earlier this year, OnePlus confirmed that the company is bringing the Always-on Display feature to OxygenOS. Now,
OnePlus’ CEO teasing that they will bring an AOD feature with the OxygenOS 11 update. The CEO confirms via a Twitter post.
CEO Pete Lau dropped a hint on Twitter suggesting that you are going to see the Always-on Display feature with the Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 update. In the post shared (below) on Twitter, you can see a clock-styles with the words “11 on display.”

All recently released OnePlus smartphones come with an AMOLED display, and, Always-on Display feature will only cause them lower power consumption.

Currently, we don’t have any release date for the OxygenOS 11. However, OnePlus released the Android 10 in September 2019 for the OnePlus 7 Pro. And this year, Google is launching Android 11 on September 8, we could see the Always-on Display feature within a few weeks with OxygenOS 11.
