POCO F4 April 2023 update reaches more markets

Xiaomi is rolling out the April 2023 security update for the remaining owners of  POCO F4 smartphones. It was earlier available in Indonesia and India. Therefore, now the update is making its way to Russia and Turkey, meanwhile, the company has also begun the May 2023 security patch for some models.

According to the information, the POCO F4 smartphone users are collecting the April 2023 security update in Russia and Turkey with the MIUI build version V14.0.4.0.TLMRUXM and V14.0.3.0.TLMTRXM. Additionally, the remaining region users will also collect the patch in the coming days or weeks.

POCO F4 smartphone users are currently enjoying the functionalities of the major software, MIUI 14 uprooted on Android 13. However, the company is also preparing for the next version of the Android custom skin and luckily the POCO F4 device is also eligible to obtain the upcoming Android 14-based MIUI 15 update.

April 2023 update 

Coming back to the April 2023 update, the latest security patch will offer improved protection against dangerous threats, viruses, and other vulnerabilities. It will further provide increased security for the system and ensure that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure.

Moving on, the patch also helps to fix any bugs and glitches that may have been discovered in the system, for reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss. In addition, it will also boost the overall running of your POCO smartphone and upgrade some applications for better functioning.

As usual, the update is rolling out through OTA (over-the-air) method, thus it may take some time to cover all the eligible units in the countries. Hence, if you are in the mentioned countries and using the POCO F4 smartphone, then you can install the patch manually through Settings > About Phone > System Update > MIUI Version > Download & Install.
