Redmi 10 Prime, one of Xiaomi’s popular budget smartphones, is obtaining the latest Android 13-based MIUI 14 major software update in India. However, the Chinese tech firm is also preparing for the launch of MIUI 15 software version, which is expected to arrive in Q4 of 2023.
Users of Redmi 10 Prime will be able to identify the Android 13-based MIUI 14 Update via the build version V14.0.2.0.TKUINXM and a 3.2GB package size in India.
MIUI 14 brings a host of new features and improvements to enhance the user experience. Some of the key elements of the latest software version include reimagined home screen, bigger folders that highlight the app, improved search-in settings, and a new set of wallpapers.
It also includes the June 2023 Android security patch, which will assure to enhance the protection of the system and provide a more secure experience. Notably, the update was earlier released in China and will be available for the remaining market users soon.
To check for the availability of the update manually, users can go to the Settings menu, select About phone, and then tap on System updates. If the update is available, users can simply follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update. It is advisable to back up important data before proceeding with the update to prevent any data loss.
