Xiaomi has begun its February 2024 Android security update rollout with Redmi 12 5G and POCO M6 Pro 5G smartphones. This new update brings general improvements and fixes for your POCO and Redmi devices, for deliberately improving core mechanisms and providing better interpretation.
This all-new firmware offers enhanced protection against threats, viruses, and other cyber-related assaults. It also provides increased security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure. It further resolves bugs and glitches, reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss.
Moving on, the February 2024 update for Redmi 12 5G and POCO M6 Pro 5G devices has arrived with the HyperOS version OS1.0.1.0.UMWEUXM and carries an installation package of around 4.6GB.
In terms of availability, the update is currently live in Europe and will reach more regions in the upcoming days or weeks. Users can check and install the update manually through Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Download & Install.
