Xiaomi’s May 2023 security update rollout now reaches the Redmi 12C smartphone, as the Chinese tech giant is attempting to seed every remaining model with the advancements of the latest patch. The Redmi 12C is a recently launched device that came preinstalled with MIUI 13 and is waiting to obtain MIUI 14.
This new security patch version will make your device more safe and secure, and the owners of Redmi 12C will be able to identify the May 2023 update via the MIUI build version V13.0.8.0.SCVCNXM. Additionally, the improvements of the firmware are collected in a massive installation package of around 3.4 GB.
Being a regular monthly firmware, the update will resolve some common bugs and glitches, that have been found in the system, and further protect the phone from harmful threats, viruses, and other safety-related issues.
