Xiaomi is rolling out a new software update for the Redmi 12C smartphones in China, which brings the May 2023 Android security patch with some optimizations and fixes. Therefore, the latest patch was initially rolled out in India and the other remaining users will also collect it in the coming days.
Going with the details, the May 2023 security patch for Redmi 12C consumers is rolling out in China with MIUI build version V14.0.1.0.TCVCNXM. It further carries a package size of 4.2GB. Hence, the corresponding device owners are recommended to opt for a stable connection over regular mobile data.
