Xiaomi has started to rollout an August 2021 security patch for Redmi 9A users in India. The firmware version of this update is V12.0.18.0.QCDINX and weighs 1.8GB. You can download the update from the link mentioned below.

Xiaomi has started to rollout the latest August 2021 security patch to its devices. Redmi 9A becomes the first Xiaomi device to receive the latest August 2021 security update. The new update improves system security by installing the latest Android patch.
JOIN XIAOMI ON TELEGRAM
Currently, the company is rolling out the latest update for Chinese variants and soon it will expand to other regions. However, there’s no additional new change or feature noted.
The newest update for Redmi 9A comes with the version V12.0.16.0.QCDCN and users will have to install a 2.1GB software package to install the update.
